Yuletide greetings to this awesome AOS Family of God.I am excited to announce a new dawn at AOS! With the support of our dedicated staff, we are working together to steer the school toward more tremendous success.As we reflect on who we are and how far we’ve come, I believe this understanding will propel us to greater heights.

With God’s guidance, we will continue nurturing Godly, well-behaved children prepared to thrive as global citizens.

As we wrap up another term, it’s a perfect moment to reflect and take stock. We deeply value your steadfast support and collaboration in all our programs and initiatives. Your active participation has been instrumental in making this term a success, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.

We are excited to introduce a loyalty reward initiative that compensates parents for referring other families who enroll their child/ Ward in the school.

All our darling parents are enjoined to take advantage of this initiative for every new parent you refer to our school who successfully enrolls their child/ward, you will receive a 5% discount on your child’s school fees.

You can make unlimited referrals, so the more parents you refer, the more discounts you enjoy!

Action plan for 2nd term 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Academic Activities

  • Resumption:The term begins onMonday, 6th January 2025, with academic activities commencing immediately.
  • Fees: All fees should be paid on or before resumption, and evidence of payment should be forwarded to the admin office. Cash payment is not allowed
  • Open Day: Parents will have the opportunity to review their child’s academic progress and interact with teachers.
  • Quizzes and Competitions:To sharpen their knowledge, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills, pupils will participate in quizzes, a spelling bee, and debating competitions.
  • Morning Assembly presentations: These sessions enhance public speaking, encourage teamwork, and help build pupils’/students’ confidence. Each week, different classes or groups will share educational and motivational content at the assembly, fostering a sense of responsibility and leadership.

Technology Integration.

  • Digital Literacy:Continued emphasis on building digital skills for all pupils.
  • E-Learning Tools: Utilization of modern technology to support teaching and learning.

Appearance Guidelines

  • Girl’shair should be neatly plaited; braids, attachments, and beads are not allowed, while boys’ hair should be neatly cropped.
  • Pupils/Students should come to school in clean and ironed uniforms.

Health and Nutrition

  • On Wednesdays, pupils and students are expected to bring only fruits, water, and their meals; other snacks and pet drinksare not permitted.

Co-Curricular Activities

·       Strengthenclub activities, including science, arts, and Homemakers clubs.

·       Talent Showcase:Termly events where students showcase their talents and creative projects.

Parental Engagement

  • Parent-Teacher Meetings: Regular interactions to discuss pupils’ progress.

Special Events

·Valentine’s Day: We will celebrate in school and visit an orphanage on the same day. The dress code

is white and red.

·Fruit Day Celebration: A fun-filled event highlighting the importance of fruits and promoting

healthy eating habits.

·Cultural Day and End-of-Term Funfair: A vibrant celebration of cultural heritage featuring traditional attire,
food, and performances, Character, and Personal development.

Moral Education: Weekly sessions to instill values like respect, discipline, and responsibility.

  • Behavior Monitoring: Close tracking of pupils’ conduct to foster a positive school culture

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

·       Children should be dropped at the school entrance, where staff will assist nursery pupils.

  • To ensure safety submit passport photos of authorized pick-up individuals on the first day of each term. Notify the school with a letter and photo if there’s a change.
